If you are a connoisseur of music and hi-fi the Kenwood SP0001 speakers may not float your boat when you look at the specifications. Indeed, you could say that they are a little average.
But in terms of style, the speakers can get down and dirty with the best of them. In fact, you could say they’re are downest, the dirtiest, and the funkiest speakers, on the planet.
They are transparent, no wood or plastic casing here, and when they’re switched on, the LED effects are near rave quality. In fact, if you had a pair of these, you could probably rest assured that the club-style atomosphere, will be recreated.
To get a pair you will have to go to Japan, as they are currently unavailable anywhere else, and no release date has been set for any other country. They cost in the region of $1000.

Prabhakaran's body cremated: Lankan army
LTTE supremo Velupillai Prabhakaran's body has been cremated by Sri Lankan security forces, army chief Gen Sarath Fonseka has said amid claims by the rebels that their chief is alive.
Fonseka said the identification of 54-year-old Prabhakaran's body came on Tuesday morning after heavy confrontations in the northeastern Mullaittivu district the previous day. "We cremated the body in the same area and threw the ashes into the (Indian) ocean," Fonseka told the Rivira newspaper in an interview to be published tomorrow.
"Even before Prabhakaran was killed, I knew we had won the war, but I was overjoyed when I had confirmation of his death," he said. Fonseka said about 170 Tiger cadres were killed together with Prabhakaran on Monday.
However, the bodies of Tiger intelligence chief Pottu Amman and Prabhakaran's wife, Mathiwadini, had not been identified, although Prabhakaran's eldest son Charles Anthony's body was found.
The government showed footage of Prabhakaran's body after the pro-rebel Tamilnet website first claimed on May 18 that he was alive and well.

Increase The Amount of Virtual Memory Used by XP

Speed Boot - Save 2 Seconds
I found that creating a script to run on shutdown that deletes the temp folder and history shaved 2.5 seconds on my boot time, down do 10.5 secs.
Create a batch file by doing the following:
1) Open notepad and enter the following lines:
RD /S /q "C:\Documents and Settings\"UserName without quotes"\Local Settings\History"
RD /S /q "C:\Documents and Settings\Default User\Local Settings\History"
RD /S /q "D:\Temp\" <--"Deletes temp folder, type in the location of your temp folder"
2) Save the fily and then rename is something like deltemp.bat
3) Now click Start, Run and type in gpedit.msc --->Computer Configuration --->Windows Settings --->Scripts and double click on Shutdown --->Click Add and find the batch file you created and press ok to set the script
Tweak worked wonders for me, hope it works well for you.
Prabhakaran's son killed: Sri Lanka military
Blog: Memories of Jaffna A day after announcing they were silencing their guns, the last remnants of what was once one of Asia's most feared guerrilla armies are cornered up in a tiny patch of jungle in Sri Lanka's northeast. Brigadier Udaya Nanayakkara said some rebels continued to offer resistance as troops conducted "mopping-up operations" in the area. He said security forces had found the body of Prabhakaran's 24-year-old son Charles Anthony during those operations. The other senior figures were political chief B Nadesan, the head of the Tigers' defunct peace secretariat, S Puleedevan, and their eastern leader, S. Ramesh, the defence ministry said. Sri Lanka has vowed to kill or capture remnants of the Tiger army, with an intensive search underway Monday for Prabhakaran. Nanayakkara said Prabhakaran's fate was unknown, adding "we have not found him dead or alive yet, but we know what we will do when we get him." In a dramatic announcement, the guerrillas acknowledged on Sunday that their decades-old battle for an independent ethnic homeland had reached its "bitter end" -- signalling Asia's longest running civil war was all but over. "We have decided to silence our guns," Selvarasa Pathmanathan, the Tigers' chief of international relations, said in a statement. "Our only regrets are for the lives lost and that we could not hold out for longer." He said the rebel leadership, including Prabhakaran, was still holed up in an area of less than 60 acres of jungle on the northeast coast, surrounded by government forces. But his appeals for peace talks -- rather than a surrender -- were flatly rejected by the government, and the defence ministry said soldiers were being sent in to crush the diehard remnants and recapture "every inch of land." Sri Lanka's hawkish president, Mahinda Rajapaksa, has prorogued parliament and will open a new session on Tuesday with an address that will officially mark the ending of the war. The conflict has left more than 70,000 dead from pitched battles, suicide attacks, bomb strikes and assassinations. The capital Colombo, which has been frequently hit by Tiger suicide attacks over the past quarter century, saw street celebrations which lasted well into Sunday night. Authorities are determined to capture, kill or recover Prabhakaran's body amid fears his escape may lead to an attempt to rebuild the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) and usher in a new cycle of violence. Rebel official Pathmanathan, believed to be in hiding in a Southeast Asian country, told Britain's Channel 4 television that Prabhakaran, who has lived underground since 1972, was still alive Sunday along with 2,000 fighters. But there have also been reports he may have committed suicide by blowing himself up -- making sure his body is not found and that his aura lives on -- or that he may have slipped away by boat or even submarine. The Sri Lankan government's moment of triumph has also come at the cost of thousands of innocent lives lost in indiscriminate shelling, according to the United Nations. The UN's rights body now wants a war crimes probe. The International Committee of the Red Cross, the only neutral organization that has been allowed to work in the war zone, has for its part described "an unimaginable humanitarian catastrophe." But Sri Lanka has shrugged off the international pressure. "There was no bloodbath as some people feared," human rights minister Mahinda Samarasinghe told reporters. "Everybody has come out safely and they are being looked after by the government." |

Velupillai Prabhakaran (Tamil: வேலுப்பிள்ளை பிரபாகரன்; November 26, 1954 – May 18, 2009 was the founder and leader of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), a militant organization that sought to create an independent Tamil state in the north and east of Sri Lanka. LTTE and many other secessesionist movements were born in the 1970's as a result of discriminatory policies passed by successive Sri Lankan governments against ethnic Tamils. LTTE waged a violent secessionist campaign in Sri Lanka that led to them being designated a terrorist organization by 32 countries...
Prabhakaran was wanted by Interpol for terrorism, murder, organized crime and terrorism conspiracy. He also had arrest warrants against him in Sri Lanka and India. On May 18, 2009, the Sri Lankan Government announced that Velupillai Prabhakaran had been killed while trying to escape advancing troops in an ambulance.[9][10][1][2] However, UK-based Tamil Tiger spokesperson Selvarasa Pathmanathan claims that Prabhakaran is "still alive." On May 19, Sri Lanka's Defence Ministry revealed a body by the shore of Nandikadal lagoon and had been identified to be that of Prabhakaran. Sri Lanka media also showed video of the body.

I’ve been searching for weeks over net for an easiest & ultimate way to download YouTube videos.
And today my search came to an end and I think I’ve found probably the quickest way to download YouTube videos.
It’s actually a free add-on for Firefox,recommended by Firefox itself, called “DownloadHelper”.
DownloadHelper is a simple free add-on for capturing videos from many sites like YouTube, MySpace, Google videos, MetaCafe, DailyMotion, and many others.
How to Use:
- You must be using Firefox Browser in order to install.
- Click the button to install DownloadHelper.
After installation restart Firefox, After restart you’ll see a new DownloadHelper button on the toolbar above.
How it Works:
Just surf the Web as you are used to, when DownloadHelper detects some video streaming, the icon gets animated.
All you have to do is to just press the icon and a Click to video link will immediately start downloading!!
Best of all, you can setup the extension to automatically convert the downloaded movies to your preferred video format, by right clicking the button and go to preferences.
By default it saves all the videos in “.flv” format.
DownloadHelper allows you to download files one by one, so that you keep bandwidth to surf for other stuffs and downloads.
There are plenty of options to explore in the preferences.

On first look, these “zoozoos” in Vodafone TV ads for IPL may resemble animated cartoon characters with an alien look or simply a stupid egg-head character with disproportional white bodies and black dots for eyes and mouth.
These Zoozoo characters, in case you haven’t seen them yet, have been created by O&M for Vodafone to convey different value added services offered by the mobile phone company including phone Backup, cricket alerts, etc.

This was something which was created purely out of textbook and is totally an Indian idea. The characters are such that they lead simple lives, speak insane and incomprehensible language and move in a certain way with human emotions.
But the interesting part is that Zoozoos are not animated characters but are actually slim women actors from local Mumbai theatres, dressed in white costumes that are stuffed with foam to portray the characters.
Prakash Varma, who directed the Vodafone ZooZoo commercials, told Afaqs that they only had women – and occasionally children – as their main cast to keep the hands and legs thin of the Zoozoo characters.
Such is the craze with Zoozoo that Vodafone ads are among the most watched videos on YouTube and there are over 50,000 Zoozoo fans on Facebook.
Vodafone has an IPL microsite for quizzes and contests where one can know the kind of Zoozoo he or she is as each Zoozoo character has a unique set of characteristics and traits allotted to it. Fans may also download wallpapers and screensavers from the Zoozoo microsite.
It seems that the new Vodafone campaign, which is immensely popular during IPL ad-breaks, would make way for the departure of good old pug ‘Chitika’.

Automatically Close All Running Programs and Safely Eject USB Drive
Have you ever encountered a scenario when you were not able to safely eject your usb drive because some hidden programs were already running? There is built in safely remove hardware option in windows but there are times when we get an error like “Cannot remove USB Drive” and at that time we left with no other option but to directly remove the USB drive. This increases the risk of data corruption and possible damage of your flash drive.
EjectUSB is a freeware utility that can automatically close all running programs and can safely eject your USB drives. Not only this but it has got some advanced features as well like flushing the file cache, closing Explorer windows and removing registry entries and Recent Document shortcuts. EjectUSB does not have any user interface but still it’s very easy to use. All you need to do is to extract the zip file to your USB flash drive and then simply run EjectUSB.exe to eject the drive.
If you want to configure the application as per your liking, settings.bat file helps you to do that. Only glitch that I have found in this application is that your antivirus may detect it as malicious software like Trojan but believe in actual it’s not. The reason why you may get this notification is that EjectUSB is an AutoIt3 script. Don’t forget to download it from official website only and you can use it without any worries. The file size is just 258 KB in size.

How To Download From Rapidshare With IDM At Maximum Speed
What you need
1.IDM - I am using version 5.12 however this guide will work for most versions
2.Preferably Mozilla Firefox (Opera and others should work too)

Step 1 Download IDM:
Once you have installed your copy you're ready to go!
Step 2 Open up IDM from the taskbar:

Step 5 Now, the first tab named "General" shows your browser integration - as you can see IDM automatically sets Mozilla and IE to be integrated after installation however if they aren't, check the boxes. The same applies if you are using Opera or another browser listed.

You can do this for any link you want however if you want to download multiple links at the same time there is a quicker way Wink For example, I want to download this set of Links here:
It would be a bit tedious to select each link individually so you can simply highlight more than one and download like you would just one link. You will notice a second window appears too.
Notice that you need to check all the tick boxes to make sure the files are downloaded, then click "ok." This will add all the downloads to your list.
